StayVista is an Indian hospitality and vacation rental platform that manages and markets private villas and holiday properties. Headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

History

The company was co-founded in July 2015 by Amit Damani, Ankita Sheth, and Pranav Maheshwari under the registered legal name Stay Vista Private Limited, operating initially under the brand name "Vista Rooms". It initially launched as an online budget hotel aggregator.

In 2017, the company changed its business model to focus on the vacation home and villa rental sector, dropping its budget hotel operations. In March 2022, the company rebranded from Vista Rooms to "StayVista".

Business Model

The company aggregates inventory onto its proprietary channel and distributes its listings through integrations with third-party online travel platforms, including Airbnb, MakeMyTrip, Booking.com, and Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy. The company has said it aims to expand its total portfolio to 2,500 properties and target an initial public offering (IPO) by 2028.

Funding

According to financial data sourced from the Registrar of Companies (RoC), StayVista recorded its first full fiscal year of profitability in FY25, reporting ₹181 crore in operating revenue (a 29% increase from the previous fiscal cycle) and a net profit of ₹3.6 crore.

The company has raised institutional capital across two primary funding tranches:

  • September 2022: A ₹40 crore Series B round led by Singapore-based venture capital firm DSG Consumer Partners alongside Capri Global Family Office.
  • June 2025: A follow-on Series B round of ₹40 crore led by JSW Ventures, with participation from existing institutional backers.
