Stardance project
The Stardance Project is an attempt to bring for the first time real null-gravity dance to film. Currently the filmmakers intend the film to be shot and viewed in the IMAX format.
History
The project was begun by Jeanne Robinson (co author of the Stardance novels) and a concept reel of art and video was shown along with a presentation at the Heinlein centennial. The concept reel can be found Here. Following the presentation Jim Sposto signed on as producer and Peter Diamandis offered a free ride to Jeanne and her dancer to get some practical experience and footage abord his zero-g flights out of Las Vegas. The trip is scheduled over the new year 2007 and will be liveblogged.
