Before Donovan became an [...] actress, she was a model. She appeared in Swatch television commercials. She was the subject of a 1986 KNBC-TV news report titled Confessions of a [...] Star, appearing behind a screen; though at one point in the interview, she leaned forward and was clearly visible. Donovan was an informant for the Meese Commission. Because of those two events, Donovan was blacklisted by the [...] industry.
