Spirit of the Dance
Spirit of the Dance is an Irish inspired dance show in the vein of Riverdance. From its first performance at the Hippodrome Theatre, Bristol, England, in 1996, it became an instant hit. Within two years David King's Irish Dance production became the world's most successful dance show, with 14 different companies performing this smash hit show in 14 different countries on the same night.
Spirit of the Dance has been seen by more than thirty million people around the world. It was created, written and produced by the award winnig producer and composer David King, one of the UK's most successful international producers. He has many touring productions around the world at any one time, including a permanent residence in Branson Missouri, Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Monte Carlo, and at the Palace Theatre Myrtle Beach, SC. King's writing and producing credits have won him several international awards, including best internationl producer, best choreography, best original MusicAL score, and many others.
