The '''Social Democratic Party of Pennsylvania''' is a [[social democratic]]/[[democratic socialist]] political party in the [[U.S. state]] of [[Pennsylvania]].

The SDPPA was formed in 2007 by progressive Democrats, Social Democrats, and Democratic Socialists who were interested in bringing these tangible improvements to the Commonwealth. It is recognized as both an [[activist]] organization and a vehicle for social democratic [[electoral politics]].{{Fact|date=January 2008}}

On May Day 2007 the Social Democratic Party of Pennsylvania announced it had formally voted to affiliate with the [[Social Democratic Party of America]].
