Sleek MakeUP is a British cosmetics brand founded in 1985, known for its highly pigmented products designed for diverse skin tones. It is currently a subsidiary of the No7 Beauty Company, part of Walgreens Boots Alliance.

History

Sleek MakeUP was established in London in 1985, initially targeting Afro-Caribbean consumers underserved by mainstream cosmetics. The brand quickly gained traction for its bold colors and affordability.

By the 1990s, Sleek expanded across Europe, offering products in department stores and drugstores. In 2009, Sleek launched its famous “i-Divine” eyeshadow palettes, which became cult favorites.

In 2015, Sleek was acquired by Boots UK and integrated into the No7 Beauty Company. This acquisition expanded Sleek’s reach to over 2,200 stores worldwide.
