SkyParkSecure.com was founded in 2003 and is part of SkyParkSecure Ltd. SkyParkSecure is an online company offering airport parking at all UK airports. The company operates out of offices in Blackpool.

History

The company was founded in 2003 by David Brown and Dean Pailing and started by operating a Park and Ride airport parking service at Liverpool Airport. Brown and Pailing decided early on that they wanted to offer a much wider range of services that just one product at one airport and quickly accumulated a portfolio of products all over the UK.

By 2004 SkyParkSecure was offering over 40 products at a number of UK based airports and were now including Meet and Greet products alongside their Park and Ride offerings.

In February 2007 SkyParkSecure signed a contract of operate the official on airport Meet and Greet Service for Bristol International Airport. By 2009 Brown and Pailing had grown the company to offer over 150 products all over the UK and had introduced a full price guarantee for all products.

Web Site

In 2003 the web site was a simple booking system, enabling customers to search by a range of dates and display the results for the one product on offer. The site was quickly developed over the coming years to integrate the rapid addition of parking products across the UK.

By 2005 the site not only enabled customers to choose from a wide range of airport parking services, but also enabled staff within the company to manage many of the customers’ needs within the system.

SkyParkSecure was the first company in the UK to offer booking confirmations to customers by sending an animated MMS message direct to customers’ mobile phones for an optional fee.

In 2009 the web site was completely relaunched offering over 100 new developments to dramatically improve the customer experience and to streamline their in office services.

Charity

On the 9th May 2010 several members of the SkyParkSecure team took part in the Beaverbrooks 10k in Blackpool in aid of Donna’s Dream House; a charity made famous following its appearance on Secret Millionaire. The team raise £5886 though sponsorship and online donations.
