Skydo

Skydo is an Indian financial technology company that provides cross-border payment solutions for exporters, freelancers, startups, and small and medium-sized enterprises. The company is headquartered in Bengaluru, India.

History

Skydo was founded in 2022 by Srivatsan Sridhar and Movin Jain to address challenges associated with cross-border payments for Indian businesses. The company launched a platform designed to help Indian exporters and businesses receive international payments and manage foreign exchange transactions. In 2024, Skydo raised US$5 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Elevation Capital. In December 2025, Skydo raised US$10 million in a Series A funding round led by Susquehanna Asia Venture Capital, with participation from existing investors including Elevation Capital and Eximus Ventures.

Regulatory approvals

In January 2025, Skydo received in-principle authorisation from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to operate as a Payment Aggregator–Cross Border (PA-CB) entity.

In January 2026, the company received final authorisation from the RBI to operate as a PA-CB, enabling it to facilitate overseas payment collections for Indian exporters and businesses engaged in international trade.

In May 2026, Skydo became one of the first cross-border payment companies to receive in-principle approval for a Payment Service Provider licence in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City. The licence expanded the company's ability to support cross-border payment services and international financial operations.

Partnerships

Skydo has entered into partnerships with various organisations to expand its payment services. In 2025, the company announced a partnership with Veem to facilitate international business payments. It also partnered with Intoglo to assist Indian exporters in accessing tariff refund opportunities in the United States. The company has also collaborated with Amazon Global Selling to support exporters using Amazon's international marketplaces.
