SKAspot Network
The SKAspot Network, is a social networking website created as an extension of the ska music web portal, SKAspot. It was established during the Summer of 2007. Its mission is to build a SKA-centered community and forge connections throughout the global ska scene. Members include ska bands, podcasters, promoters and enthusiasts of ska music. The site was created using the Ning "build your own social network" platform and enables members to share music, photos, blogs, and videos consisting of ska related content.
The SKAspot Network was created by one of its current members that uses the alias skaisyourfriend on the community and on MySpace. Although the creator chooses to remain anonymous, skaisyourfriend is the same entity who created SKAspot and the This is SKA-Cast ska music podcast.
