Scott Swan

Scott Swan is a screenwriter living in Los Angeles, CA. Best known for his work on seasons one and two of Masters of Horror, Swan has been working with his writing partner Drew McWeeny for 20 years, since the two met in high school. Their recent films John Carpenter’s Cigarette Burns and Pro-Life, both produced as part of the Masters series for Showtime, represent their first produced film work, but the two have been working professionally since 1994, when their plays Sticks & Stones and Broken Bones were first produced in Los Angeles.

Swan and McWeeny are currently writing Invasion, a horror film to be produced by Todd Garner, and Mike Fleiss, and are said to be developing a screenplay for the third Mortal Kombat movie, Mortal Kombat: Devastation, with producer Larry Kasanoff.

Under the pseudonym "Obi-Swan," Swan contributes occasionally to Ain't It Cool News, the website that McWeeny co-edits.
