Schwarzbeck
Schwarzbeck Mess-Elektronik is a German-based manufacturer and service provider in the field of measurement equipment around electromagnetic interference.
Günter Schwarzbeck founded the company in Schönau-Altneudorf in the state of Baden-Württemberg in 1953. Günter Schwarzbeck (call sign DL1BU) published various articles about radio amateur antennas and was technical adviser for the DARC Deutscher Amateur Radio Club in the 1970s and 1980s.
Schwarzbeck manufactures EMI receivers, antennas, Helmholtz coils, pulse generators, near field probes, absorbing clamps, dummy lamps and LISN. Schwarzbeck is the only manufacturer for calibration pulse generators. A calibration pulse generator produces extremely fast rising nanosecond pulses of several hundred volts in the time domain. After a Fourier transform into the frequency domain a flat broadband spectrum can be observed. This spectrum is commonly used to calibrate the pulse response of EMI receivers.
