About SCHOBRUNN

History

Founded in 1992 in Shanghai, SCHOBRUNN employs over 600 people and has headquarters both in Paris and in Shanghai. This company is involved in R&D, production and distribution of hair care products for professionals.

SCHOBRUNN offers a wide range of products: shampoos, coloring, permanent care conditioner, fixing products... SCHOBRUNN is the third player in the professional hairdressing market in China, after L'Oreal and Procter&Gamble (Wella), according to a market research conducted by Unilever in 2009.

SCHOBRUNN PARIS leads a series of projects and is responsible for developing SCHOBRUNN on the international market.

Euronext listed

After a year of preparation to fulfill all conditions required by the AMF (Financial Market Authorities), SCHOBRUNN has been successfully listed in Paris, France, in 2010. Its ISIN is: FR0010961920.

Euronext is affiliated to NYSE Euronext, which merged with NYSE Group Inc. in 2007.

Scope of activities

R&D

Laboratories of SCHOBRUNN

The main engine of development SCHOBRUNN is R&D. SCHOBRUNN employs many specialists in research and has invested in advanced equipment for R&D. SCHOBRUNN focuses its R&D on three main elements:

  • research on additional functions for existing formula,
  • composition of new formula,
  • security and evaluation of effects of the product.

SCHOBRUNN holds several patents for national and international research.

Production

Factory of Schobrunn

Located in Wujiang, City of Jiangsu Province, the factory covers an area more than 14000 sqm. The site also includes dormitories for staff and other facilities. Investment in product safety and quality control has increased largely in recent years.

  • Workshops: 2500 sqm
  • Office: 500 sqm
  • Bottling lines: 800 sqm
  • Storage Area: 5000 sqm
  • Green Land: 5000 sqm

SCHOBRUNN is present in whole China and Hong Kong and covers:

  • 32 provinces (over 90% of territory)
  • 430 cities (all cities with a population of over 1 million inhabitants)
  • more than 200 distributors across China
  • more than 14,000 customers

Jovial Founded in 2000, JOVIAL was always in pursuit of his vocation "Better for You". JOVIAL R&D has developed product lines based on peonies with anti-oxidant properties. Indeed, JOVIAL logo is a peony.

With its professional image and involvement in fashion events, JOVIAL managed to get a great recognition among the hairdressing industry.

Events

13th Shanghai International Film Festival

Founded in 1993, the Shanghai International Film Festival is the only film festival recognized by top producers of international cinema. JOVIAL joined the Shanghai International Film Festival and has become the hairdressing partner for the first time in 2005. JOVIAL diversifies its involvement in the event and works closely with the artistic team "Make Up Forever", a cosmetics brand of LVMH, makeup and styling for stars to both the opening and closing.

World Expo, Shanghai 2010

JOVIAL became the sponsor of the hairstyle for the event "romantic wedding" in the Pavillon France on "The sensual city" during the Shanghai World Expo. The universe of JOVIAL, "better for you", echoes the theme of the Exposition Universelle. Being invited as a sponsor for France pavillon also indicates that JOVIAL is a representative brand of the sensual image of France.
