Save elizabeth

Formation

Save Elizabeth formed in Redwood City, California late 2002 and released the demo EP External Drive in 2003. One other 7" EP followed, before the release of their debut full-length, The Full Trip on Dirt Cheap Records. One other album followed on the same label before they signed to Sandstone Records. Each of their albums have sold moderately better than previous releases.

The quartet also released a best-of compilation for the European market in June 2004 titled Save Elizabeth: The Worst Of, which contained two previously unreleased tracks. The Album had to be recalled because of the lack of sales and eventually ended being dropped from Sandstone Records

DIY Tour
Save Elizabeth toured nationally playing venues that ranged capacity anywhere from 100 to 2000 people. After being dropped from Sandstone Records, the band formed a DIY (Do It Yourself) motto where they have said it was easier to manage. The Band would tour AbOUT three to four times a year, each time gaining more and more popularity. Every tour they have continued to do, they have called it DIY and exceeded up to their final tour, DIY 7 in 2005

Warped Tour Success
Save Elizabeth eventually got a spot on the Vans Warped Tour in 2004 playing on the Ernie Ball stage, where many local bands get their start up set on the Warped Tour. After much success on the Ernie Ball stage, the band was asked to come on to play dates on the tour as the BBQ band, where they were would play the tour but have to prepare dinner for the the bands and crew.

Reunion
There has been rumors about the band having a DIY 8 in the spring pf 2008. However, none of these rumors have been confirmed
