Saor Patrol

The Saor Patrol (pronounced "shore patrol") are a folk group scottish, composed by: Charlie "Chik" Allan (bagpipe), Kev Johnston (drums), Marcus Dickson (drums), John "Joe" Owens (drums alternates to guitar).

The beginning of their activity goes up again to the beginning of the 21° century, appearing as a traditional local group of their country and playing the typical scottish song.

Thanks to their particular rhythmic talent to recall the public, the group has started to acquire a certain notoriety, know themselves first in good part of the Europe and then in Asia and United States, on the occasion of: parties, social events, public functions, marriages, etc..

The sound developed it by the group has been assigned to the kind “Tribal” and “Celtic Rock” and their songs have contributed and they contribute today to the classical traditional scottish music, together with the bluegrass, rockabilly and others.

Besides the music, the Saors Patrol are also voluntary of the Clanranald, through which they give instructive discourses and simple demonstrations to the various communities, groups, schools and university, on the occasion of the various tours both in Scotland that to the foreign countries.
