Sandy Dall'erba

Sandy Dall'erba is a French economist. He is the director of the Regional Economics Applications Laboratory .

Biography

Sandy Dall'erba holds an Associate Professor position in the Department Of Agricultural and Consumer Economics with affiliation in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning of University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He received his doctorate in Economics from the University of Pau, France, in June 2004 after spending two years at REAL. REAL is also the place he went to for a one-year post-doctoral stay in 2004-2005 which was followed by another year at the Department of Spatial Economics of the Free University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

He was an Assistant Professor and then an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography and Regional Development of the University of Arizona over 2006-2015. While in Arizona, he co-founded the Regional Economics And Spatial Modeling laboratory which was a small-scale version of REAL.
