Rudolph Hardie
Rudolph Hardie (born October 8, 1985 in ) is an American football defensive end for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League. He was signed by the Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He played college football at Howard.
Hardie has also been a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Green Bay Packers.
Professional career
First stint with Lions
After going undrafted in the 2008 NFL Draft, Hardie was signed by the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent. He was waived by the Lions during final cuts on August 30.
Saskatchewan Roughriders
On September 16, 2008, Hardie was signed to the practice roster of the Canadian Football League's Saskatchewan Roughriders only to be released two days later on September 18.
Green Bay Packers
Hardie was signed to the practice squad of the Green Bay Packers on October 8, 2008. He was released on October 20.
Second stint with Lions
Hardie was re-signed to the practice squad of the Detroit Lions on December 9, 2008 after linebacker Darnell Bing was promoted to the ACTIVE roster. Following the season, he was re-signed to a future contract on December 29.
