Roseledge herb farm
Roseledge herb farm is a historic property on the homestead of the colonial Joh Meech 1720. Located in Preston, CT in the heart of the Mystic Country area. Southeastern CT is home to the New London Sub base where Master Chief Derek Beecher served, now retired he joins his wife Gail Beecher in mantaining and working this rural farm bed and breakfast. Three rooms with wood burning fireplaces is one of the many features this nearly 300 year old home/B&B offers to the traveling public. The guest rooms are all located on the second floor of this center chimney colonial. Each has a private bath, queen pencil post canopey bed and wood burning fireplace. Breakfast is served each day in the sunny tea room where, the farm fresh eggs from the "girls" are a hit! Herbs and other eatible flowers garnish the meals and baking when in season. The herb shop sells a large selection of herbs, roses, and whimical items for in and out of the home. Honey is another item that the farm sells and the honey bees are ever present going from one garden to another.
