History
Founded in Vicenza in 1977, Roberto Coin was first established by its eponymous creator to produce for internationally acclaimed jewelry brands. Many years later, the Roberto Coin brand was introduced in 1996 and within six years the brand reached the upper echelons of the jewelry world, ranking third internationally and first in Italy. Roberto Coin jewelry espouses the eternal search for beauty expressed through the seductive art and nature of the pieces. The signature of Roberto Coin is the use of rubies and rubellite in almost every jewelry creation. Ancient Egyptian legend holds that the when touching the skin the ruby is to bring it's wearer health, happiness and good fortune throughout their lives.
Boutiques
Roberto Coin has 7 boutiques worldwide, of which all are flagship stores. The first boutique opened in Dubai at Wafi City in July 2007. Many other boutiques opened that same year in Atlanta, Rome, Macau, and Baku.
