Robert St John

Robert St John [1914-1996] was a British naturopath and reflexologist

He pioneered the healing art of Metamorphosis during the 1950s

Practitioners work on and above the spinal reflexes of the feet primarily but also those of the hand and head and can work on the spine itself all in an infinitely gentle noninvasive way Metamorphosis works with the intent of loosening blockages in the unconscious so that the Recipient may change deepseated patterns Metamorphosis is deeply relaxing and balancing It helps people to cope with wanted or enforced changes of any kind It has been used extensively for self development, support through difficult times, women's issues, schoolchildren and student's issues and developmental issues. Clients can go to practitioners and /or learn to work on themselves or teach family members to exchange sessions Metamorphosis can enable profound beneficial and effortless change in some people and deep lasting relaxation Robert St John saw Metamorphosis as a way to heal basic stress patterns that formed way back in time that have caused all mankind's subsequent recurring war cycles illnesses and conflicts Robert used the name Metamorphosis and believed that this should be something shared and not turned into a certified course because it was not appropriate He also felt that having an intent to heal was appropriate without trying to influence the direction of healing Metamorphosis is GeneRally taught by people who feel ready after at least 3 years experience of working on themselves and others It May Be found in UK America South Africa and Australia and many other countries More information can be obtained from A Center for Metamorphosis at metamorphosiscenter.com a US based site that lists practitioners worldwide

[Metamorphic Technique is a relative of Metamorphosis began by a expractitioner Gaston St Pierre The methods are pretty much the same but some concepts have been added to each since they went their separate ways and the mindsets are subtly different MT is taught more in Europe and UK]
