Robert Scott (playwright)
Robert Scott is a British playwright, songwriter and composer. His scripts range from dark tragedies to light comedies and have currently been performed in 18 countries. His MusicAL abilities have received praise from established professionals such as Wang-Chung founder and former Sony producer Nick Feldman and Ivor Novello award winner David Matthews. Scott receives regular reviews which often refer to specific jokes or memorable lines in the evenings performance. In 2014 Scott has won several awards for his plays including The Short+Sweet Wildcard Award for A Charming Affair (Dubai) and AASCA Drama Festival Bronze Award for A Spy With A View(USA).
Personal life
Scott married in October 2014 and resides in South Derbyshire
Frequently his shows are premiered by the Medusa Theatre Group which he is he is producer co founder of. At two premiers he has taken on an original role playing David in A Spy With A View (tour 2012) and the title role in The Angry Doctor

Music
He taught himself piano at the age of three by copying music he heard on the TV and radio. Scott is currently writing and recording for his first music release HORIZONS with the band Message for Matilda (Release date 2 March 2015)
