A Charming Affair

A Charming Affair is a comedy sketch by Robert Scott.

First published in 2012 by Lazy Bee Scripts, the sketch has received regular productions around the world. A performance by The American Theatre of Dubai was the Judges Award Winner, Short and Sweet (festival) (Dubai) 2014.

Synopsis

Located in a fictitious country in the style of a comedy sketch with a simple (indicative) restaurant setting, Snow White and Cinderella meet in a café for the first time in years. As they both try do outdo each other the topic soon moves to their husbands, but soon notice a startling similarity. The shocked pair realize that Prince Charming is a bigamist. It's no fairy tale, but things get worse when Sleeping Beauty pops in to tell them about her new man. Over the course of the sketch the three fairy tale characters show their true twisted personalities and plot to kill Charming with a poisoned apple.
