Reverse were an English rock band from Stoke-on-Trent, previously signed to Damaged Goods Records, formed in 1993 with punk influences (as of 2006, a London indie pop band uses the same name). They were descended from a Barlaston band called Reverse Jam, formed in 1990. They released their single "Stem the Slide" and got a single of the week from Kerrang! The band consists of Nick Sharratt on bass and vocals, Mick Flock on guitar and vocals, Dan Rowley on guitar and Dave Smith on bass. They released their compilation album Glance Sideways on CD in 2009 on Mushroom Records. Sharratt is not to be confused with the writer of the same name. The band broke up in 1997 after their final recording session with Frankie Stubbs (of Leatherface). They released a split single with Exit Condition in 1995 called "Vitamin Z". They played with the Venus Beads in 1991.
