Ravi's International is a high-fashion custom clothing company founded in 1991 in Thailand, by tailor and entrepreneur Mr. Ravi Daswani, whose family has been in the clothing business for three generations.

History

On May 10, 1985, at the age of fifteen, Ravi Daswani arrived for the first time in Thailand.

In December 1991, after 6 years of hard labor, he opened his first own tailor shop in the Bangkok Palace Hotel.

In 1997 the company opened a second showroom and moved on to expand sales platforms by launching, in 1998, a fully functional, e-commerce enabled website in Thailand.

Ravi's International quickly gained a reputation for producing fine quality wool suits and formal dress shirts for men and women, and by the end of the 1990s, the outfitter employed 60 permanent employees and 80 on temporary/subcontract basis.

In 2000, the company was split into two separate divisions, with one focused on tapping the local clientele and visitors to Thailand via showrooms and the other focused on the international market using their comprehensive online services.

On February 3, 2001, ravistailor.com " was elected as "Site of The Day" on AskMen, a free online men’s web portal. "

On October 22, 2006, Thetimes.co.uk mention ravistailor.com in an article titled "Everything for the girl". "

In 2010, The Bangkok Post published an article about Ravi's International titled "Pioneering firm tailor-made to be a net success". "
