Ravindra Dholakia
Ravindra H Dholakia is a professor in Economics area at The INDIAN Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
Education
He is an alumni of the Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda and holds a Doctorate in Economics, with specialisation in "Regional Disparities in Economic Growth in India". He is also a post-doctoral fellow at University of Toronto.
Career
Prof.Dholakia joined IIM A in 1985. Prior to that, he was senior faculty at M.S.University and senior economist at Sardar Patel Institute of Economic and Social Research, Ahmedabad.
He was a member of the Sixth Central Pay Commission, appointed by the Government of India, from October 2006 to April 2008. Currently he is a member of the "High Level Committee on Estimation of Savings and Investment in India".
