Ramesh Shanmuganathan
Ramesh Shanmuganathan, FBCS is a Sri Lankan corporate executive. The current Executive Vice President & Group CIO of John Keells Holdings PLC the largest listed conglomerate on the Colombo STOCK Exchange, he was the former CEO of Keells Business Systems Limited a leading Systems Integration company in the country as well as Director- Strategy and New Business Initiatives of John Keells Computer Services a leading Software Development House in Sri Lanka both being fully own subsidiaries of John Keells Holdings PLC. He has played a key role in the island's evolving IT sector and sits on many panels and committees that drives its growth and Sustenance.
Educated at the prestigious Royal College Colombo, he graduated BSc degree in Engineering with a 1st class from the University of Moratuwa and gained his MBA from the Posgraduate Institute of Management of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and a MSc in IT from the Rochester Institute of Technology of the University of Rochester. He is also a Fellow of the British Computer Society.
