Rahul Manchanda
Rahul Manchanda is an American immigration attorney and professor based in New York City. He is recognized as an expert on international law.He maintains a small immigration law firm located on Wall Street in New York City's financial district. He regularly appears as a contributor on various network news programs.
Education
Prior to receiving his law degree from Pace University in 1999, in 1996 Manchanda received his bachelor's degree in Biology from Boston University. He also studied Molecular Biology and Evolutionary Biology at Yale University. He is fluent in French, English, Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi.
Professional Career
Manchanda has professional experience studying international law, having worked for one of the largest multi-national law firms in Paris, France. While there, he focused primarily on matters of international arbitration. He was recently appointed to the American Bar Association Advisory Panel , and is also a member of the New York State Bar Association Empire State Counsel program, a small group of lawyers providing free legal counsel to the underprivileged. He recently served as the Keynote Address Speaker for Hamline University School of International Law on the 60th anniversary of the United Nations Universal Declaration Of Human Rights. His practice, Manchanda Law Offices PLLC, specializes in international and immigration law, as well as matters relating to civil rights, matrimonial, and family law.
Manchanda is a professor of immigration law at John Jay College of Criminal Justice for the City University of New York.
