Rahul Kumar Kamboj
Rahul Kumar Kamboj (Hindi: ), born on January 10. in Alahar India is a German politician of the Free Democratic Party (FDP Germany) and since April 2016, state Councillor of the City of Frankfurt-Kelsterbach in the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany . In German history, Rahul Kumar Kamboj is the first state councillor with an Indian immigrant background. The computer scientist grew up in Frankfurt am Main and holds German citizenship. Councillor Rahul Kumar Kamboj is also a board member of the FDP Gross-Gerau executive district.
Life
At the age of one, Rahul Kumar Kamboj arrived in Germany. As early as 2004, Rahul Kumar Kamboj had successfully completed the middle maturity at the Otto Hahn School as the best level. In Darmstadt, he attended the evening classes of the Friedrich-List-Schule and later the Technical University of Darmstadt. He also studied business administration at the administrative and Economic Academy (VWA) Wiesbaden with a focus on human resources management.
Occupation and duties
Rahul Kumar has worked for various industries, including the automotive industry, banks and the medical sector. For almost six years he worked for the German Association for Internal Medicine (DGIM) as head of the member administration and as Federal Data Protection Commissioner of the European leading specialist association. Since 2014 he regularly held seminars on behalf of the Industry and Chamber of Commerce (IHK) Wiesbaden and is a member of the IHK Audit Committee.
Memberships
Rahul Kumar Kamboj was elected 2016 as the youngest chairman of the Social Association VdK Kelsterbach in the entire federal territory. The non-profit organization counts around 1.8 million members throughout Germany. Rahul Kumar Kamboj is the initiator and managing director of the charitable children's aid organization KfK - Förderverein für Kinder e.V. Patron of the KfK include the former district administrator of the Hessian Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis Burghard Albers as well as the reigning mayor Martin Hussmann from Bad Schwalbach. After the completion of a special training in the provincial capital Wiesbaden in 2016, Rahul Kumar Kamboj is a regular member of the Hessian police in the police headquarters of West Hessen.
Honors
The district administrator of the Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis Burkhard Albers, honored Rahul Kumar in March 2014 with the volunteering card of the state of Hessen as a sign of gratitude and appreciation. In 2017, Rahul Kumar was invited to the "Pravasi Bharatiya Divas PBD" event of the Indian Consulate General Frankfurt as guest of honor and speaker.
