Ragidi Laxma Reddy
Ragidi Laxma Reddy is an Indian Politician and a nominated candidate of Lok Sabha elections 2024 from Bharat Rashtra Samithi party representing Malkajgiri Assembly Constituency of Telangana State.
Early life
Ragidi Laxma Reddy was born (10 February 1968) and currently residing in Hyderabad, Telangana State, India.
Political career
Ragidi Laxma Reddy entered politics through the Congress party in the year 1985 as an NSUI General Secretary and later he worked in various capacities in the party.
Later he joined the Bharat Rashtra Samithi party in the year 2023.
The president of Bharat Rashtra Samithi party Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao nominated Ragidi Laxma Reddy as a candidate from the Malkajgiri Assembly Constituency for Lok Sabha elections 2024.
Social Service
He established the Madhura Charitable Trust in Uppal Assembly Constituency to help the poor, middle class and the people who are in need.
Ragidi Laxma Reddy, through his Madhura Charitable Trust he donated celling fans and plates to government schools, distributed medicines to elders, inaugurated water kiosks and distributed kho-kho kits to players who are going to participate in State Level Kho-Kho Competitions.
Controversy
On 20 July 2023, the fight took place between the followers of Ragidi Laxma Reddy and Mandumula Parmeshwar Reddy due to the tearing down of large banners on road side for the exclusion of their leader's photo on the banner. Early police action stopped the situation from getting worse.
