Quixote Studios

Quixote Studios is a film and photo studio in Los Angeles as well as a provider of production related vehicles, grip and lighting equipment, expendables and production supplies.

History

Founded in 1995 by Mikel Elliot and Jordan Kitaen as a production motorhome rental company.

In 1997 Quixote expanded by opening a multi studio and event facility in West Hollywood.

In 2000 Quixote purchased enterprise printers and expendables1 to establish the Quixote Studio Store.

In 2006 CBS's serialized crime drama Criminal Minds established Quixote Griffith Park as its primary studio filming location.

In 2007 Quixote merged with Smashbox Studios and acquired the historic Motown West Hitsville studio creating a campus-like environment at the west hollywood location2.
