PSP Wxp

PSP Wxp is a custom made Playstation Portable software, PSP Wxp Stands for "Playstation Portable Windows XP". The software can be accessed through the Internet Browser of the PSP unit.

PSP Wxp is actually written mostly in HTML, Javascript and Flash, and runs within the PSP's web browser. This collection of web pages is downloaded and put onto the PSP's Memory Stick. A PSP therefore needs no modification in order to be able to run it, provided the firmware version is sufficient (2.00 or above). To a user, when the toolbars are hidden, the web page will Appear similar to an operating system, in that the user can run applications (which are HTML, Javascript, or Macromedia Flash pages loading into iFrames). PSP Wxp has seemed to have ceased development.
