There is much talk AbOUT Rizwanur_Rahman going on. It is good that the public is talking for justice and against discrimination by the state machinery. This movement to get justice should go on till the culprits are punished in accordance with law. Rizwanur has gone, but Priyanka is there to live her life without something she loved to live with. Leaving the conclusion of Rizwanur's death a [...], [...] or an accident to the top investigation authority of India; one thing can be safely said that Todis with the help of city administration have killed the future of Priyanka's life. The reality is - whether Todis understand or not - the happiness of poor girl has been snatched away for ever. It can easily be predicted that she still is under mental torture in the favor of saving her father from going behind the bars. This is a torture that might be like this - she can not forget Rizwanur's death at the same time she can not seek her father's severe punishment - what a situation!!

Priyanka writes to Rizwanur's mother - There is no doubt about the depth of Priyanka's affection and dedication for it but this letter is most likely, a doctored one, supervised by her 'protective?' parents' family. It would be really grand, if it is something else. - speculation as on 6th November 2007.
7th November - the above speculation was right. I will reside with father, Priyanka tells in-laws Todis is not likely to allow her to communicate to somebody freely. According to the news source this is a legal letter to get her personal belongings back. Unfortunately there is no legal system for Rizwanur's mother to ask for her personal belonging (her son) back.

Analysis
The best consolation for this mother would be - if her daughter (in law, Priyanka) could stay with her.
Analyzing the sequence of events that happened since her marriage - everything Todis wanted to make it work for their favor; including separating her out from her husband. Somebody should stop this. The Chief Minister will not take any wise step here as it is learn t in the past. The intention, neutrality and of course most importantly the intellectual capability of this women council is doubtful. As understood (if not wrong), this council is a political body, and the political body is never neutral. Can CBI have a discussion with Priayanka about her willingness to stay with her father or husband's family? it is just a question I do not know whether it is right.
It is questionable that why since Riz's death Priyanka was incommunicado, specially with her in-laws. Now she has sent a legal letter for the first time in contact with in-laws. The doctoring behind this should be explored meticulously. She has been treated enough for "mental illness" by her family. It is most likely that this letter, sent to her in-laws, is a product of the treatment of her "mental illness". {Todi family treated the decision Priyanka took to marry Rizwanur was a result of mental illness}

To responsibility of city cops
It is still arguable the cause of Riz's death but whatever be case the top cops headed by Prasun Mukherjee are of course guilty. In law - nobody is allowed to force to separate out to consenting adults from being married or leading married life. There are things where cops should concentrate working on; instead they are doing something that illegal and unconstitutional.
