PLM College of Accountancy & Economics
The College of Accountancy and Economics of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila is one of the twelve Undergraduate schools of the University.
History
The College of Accountancy and Economics was once two individual departments under the former PLM College of Business and Public Administration. However, on January 31, 2003, by virtue of the Board Resolution No. 2544, the departments were united into what eventually became the College of Accountancy and Economics.
Having been consistently ranked as one of the top three schools of accountancy in the Philippines in the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exams, the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy of the College is considered as one of the best accountancy programs in the Philippines.
The College of Accountancy and Economics is currently under the supervision of Prof. Nonalyn Gesalan, CPA (Dean), Prof. Ederliza Magpantay (College Secretary), Prof. Dennis Ariel Tan, CPA (Chairperson, Department Of Accountancy) and Prof. Delia Olivar (Chairperson, Department of Economics).
