Platonix joint ventures

Platonix Joint Ventures, established in 2007, is an Israeli joint venture seed fund with over $1 million under management. Platonix is focused on seed stage companies in the fields of software and internet.

As a joint venture, Platonix typically invests between $50,000 and $250,000 in R&D provided over a period of between three months to one year in each startup. The Platonix Software Fund, a limited partnership of private investors, operates alongside Platonix Joint Ventures, coinvesting in all Joint Venture projects to eventually hold one half of the equity Platonix Joint Ventures receives in each start-up company.

General Partners

Itay Zandbank – Managing Director, Co-founder. Itay managed the R&D efforts of Kanndu, and has been involved in the design, implementation and ongoing support for TASE systems for over 10 years.

Shai Berger – Co-founder. Free Software evangelist. Focuses on databases, the relational model and computer language design.

Ro'i Gibori – Co-founder. Specialist on Windows, Unix, X-Windows and VMS.

Yishai Beeri – Managing Director, Co-founder. CEO of Hexamind. Previously Yishai served as CTO and later CEO of Kanndu.

Yossi Gortler – Co-founder. Veteran in design, implementation and maintenance of client-server and web applications with financial orientation. Has worked on upgrading applications for Sungard STeP and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

Itai Shirav – Co-founder.Worked with Metaccord System's founder to develop the company's technology. Today Itai serves as CTO of Hexamind.
