Josh Gadenne
Josh Gadenne (born December 16, 1989) is best known as the drummer from Essex rock bands Kings Cross and Exoterica.
Biography
Josh Gadenne, who is of French descent, grew up in Essex, England. He attended Braintree College in Braintree, Essex, where he studied Music technology for 2 years. While at college, he began playing in the bands Dirty Phoenix and Kings Cross (formerly Belisha), and was soon approached by Antony Mecklenburgh to join Exoterica. Josh started playing drums at a young age, influenced by his father, and enjoys bands such as Alter Bridge, Dream Theater, Shinedown, Nickelback and Fightstar. His music profile on myspace lists Thomas Lang, Mike Portnoy, Tre Cool, John Blackwell, Lars Ulrich, Alex Van Halen and Daniel Adair as the drummers who have influenced him.
Personal life
Josh is a Manchester United fan and plays way too much Playstation. He is also a part-time drum tutor.
Equipment
Gadenne has been seen gigging with TAMA Drums, mostly using a Starclassic Bubinga kit with 4/5 toms. He uses a TAMA Warlord snare and Iron Cobra double bass pedal. He also uses Zildjian, Sabian and Paiste Cymbals.
