Ping He (fashion designer)

Ping He (fashion designer) is an award winning fashion designer from China and the founder of the high fashion womenswear label, PINGHE.

Ping was interested in fashion design from a young age, graduating from Suzhou University with 1st class honours and winning an award at Shanghai Fashion Week at the age of 21. After studying a Master's Degree in Fashion Design in the UK, and working at high fashion labels including Camilla Staerk, in 2006 Ping became Head of Design for Aftershock, the global upper mid market womenswear label. Ping continued to win awards in her time at Aftershock, including a British Fashion Council award for 'Best Rising Star Brand'. Her fans at Aftershock reputedly included Madonna and Uma Thurman.

In 2011, Ping He launched her own high fashion womenswear label, PINGHE. Ping showed her debut collection at China Fashion Week in the same year, and showed her latest Spring Summer 2013 collection at Vancouver Fashion Week in Canada, to critical acclaim.
