Pietro Colucci
Pietro Colucci (born 1960) is an Italian entrepreneur involved in the green economy.
Colucci was born in Naples. After graduating in Economics at the University of Naples Federico II, he started his entrepreneurial career in 1982, leading the family company ACTIVE in the environmental sector. In 2000 he led the acquisition of the Italian division of Waste Management Inc., which was at that time, the leading group for environmental services. Two years later, he launched a Strategic Business Planwhich involved the business expansion through the renewable energies. In 2006 he became president of Assoambiente (a post he held until 2011) and vice president of FISE (Italian Service Federation, belonging to Confindustria).
In 2008 he took over Schiapparelli S.p.A., changing the company’s core business and starting operating in the renewable energy industry, through the newly founded company, Kinexia S.p.A. In 2009 he founded the Sostenya Group, where he has been Chairman and CEO since 2011. Since 2013 he has been Chairman of Innovatec, a company controlled by Kinexia S.p.A. operating in the energy efficiency sector.
