Biography
Peter Ruocco was born in the Buffalo, New York area and spent his childhood years in Tonawanda. He attended St. Edmund's Elementary School in Tonawanda, and went on to high school at Cardinal O'Hara High School.
The majority of his acting work has been on the stage, but he has recently been featured in two major productions. In 2006, Ruocco appeared as the wedding planner in the hit movie You, Me, and Dupree. Soon afterwards, he appeared as Agent Freedman in an episode of Lost. He also starred in a one man show called "Thom Pain" written by Will Eno AbOUT a recluse trying to piece together the shattered reminants of his life. The show was done as part of a Late Nite Theatre production in Fall 2006 season at the Earle Ernest Lab in the University of Hawaii. The performance also included a short self written and directed piece entitled "Conviction" featuring undergrad student actor Travis Kekoa Tamashiro about a potential [...] bomber/performer questioning the inherent trust between the audience and the actor. This piece became famous for being the first and only dramatic work to be Censored by the Theatre Department and the University. For his Thesis in MFA directing he hoisted a production of the controversial play "In The Heart Of America" by Naomi Wallace, which coincidentally and appropriately opened on the anniversary of the brutal My Lai Massacre of the Vietnam War.
Ruocco currently resides in San Francisco, California.
