Pete Prescott
Pete Prescott is a musician from Hastings, England known for his work as a rock vocalist, and as a charity fundraiser.
"Pete Prescott has been singing since the early 70s. He sang with Swiss/English band "Sergeant" in the mid 80s recording 3 albums; Sergeant, Streetwise and Living in the Fast Lane. He recorded the album Forcefield with Cozy Powell, Neil Murray and Ray Fenwick in the late eighties1.
Pete then worked with Paul Sinden on the albums Turn it Up and Mean Business which eventually led to the compilation album Time Stands Still as Passion Play with Now and Then Records. He then went on to record When We Were Young with the RESERVOIR Cats in 2000.
Since then he has concentrated on playing live gigs until 2006's release of Loose Ends.2
Since 2000 Pete has been organising Hastings Beatles Day3, a major fundraising event where hundreds of musicians from the South East of England play Beatles covers to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. In 2006 he was awarded The Title of "Outstanding Volunteer" by the Hastings Observer for this work.4
