Patrick Spilotro
Patrick "Pat" Spilotro is a brother of Anthony Spilotro born in Chicago, Illinois.
Patrick is one of the two Spilotro brothers that became legitimate citizens unlike Anthony, John and Victor who all joined the mafia. The only other other brother that did not lead a life of crime was Pasquale. Patrick moved from Chicago to Las Vegas after the arrival of his brother Anthony in 1972. He sought out employment at one of the Las Vegas casinos. His search for a career was no successful. Frank Rosenthal would later say reflecting on the situation that, "Patrick was more than qualified, and legitimate." After discovering he was a brother of Anthony, he was fired within 48 hours of earning the position solely on the grounds because he held the name of "Spilotro". The casino owner later told Rosenthal that he didn't want to put up with the harassment and investigations from the Las Vegas Gaming Control Board that would follow if he hired a brother of Anthony Spilotro. The job termination of his brother Patrick, from the casino angered his older brother Anthony immensely. Frank Cullota said that when brother Patrick got fired, he wanted to go out and "whack" everybody. He was ready to start a war with the casino owner. On hearing the news from Anthony Spilotro, Frank Rosenthal told him to "go home and take a Valium".
Spilotro later became a dentist in the Chicago area. Among his patients were several prominent members of the Chicago Outfit. 1
So much of this is wrong wrong wrong! First, Patrick IS Pasquale (Americanized name) and the inaccuracies continue throughout!
