Pascal Levensohn
Pascal Norman Levensohn (born December 5, 1960) is an American venture capitalist, speaker and investment advisor.. He is known for having published numerous articles since 1999 on venture capital trends and corporate governance practices.
Career
Pascal established Levensohn Venture Partners in 1996, a venture capital firm that invests in information technology companies and life sciences companies across various development stages.
From 2007 to 2011, he was elected to and served on the board of directors for the National Venture Capital Association.
In 2010, along with Mannie Liu Manhong of Renmin University, co-authored an undergraduate textbook titled, “Venture Capital: Theory and Practice” for University of International Business and Economics Press, Beijing.
In 2013, Pascal co-founded LittleCast, a peer-to-peer e-commerce platform for video producers and their audience, along with Amra Tareen and Stephen Ackroyd.
He is the managing director of Dolby Family Ventures, which is a California-based venture capital firm.
Throughout his career, Pascal is known for investments including BigFix, ShotSpotter, Commerceone, Mixed Dimensions and 3Scan, in addition to seeding with companies like Modsyand Hooja
Personal Life
Pascal has earned his degree from Harvard University and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Pascal is married to Melanie Levensohn and together they own and operate Levensohn Vineyards, LLC, which is located in St.Helena, California.
