Parcel Perform

Parcel Perform is a developer of cloud-based delivery experience software. It is based in Singapore.

History

Parcel Perform was founded in 2016 in Singapore by Arne Jeroschewski and Dana von der Heide to develop e-commerce logistics software intended for internationally distributed merchants and carriers. Prior to founding the company, Jeroschewski co-founded the fashion e-commerce firm Zalora and held senior positions at Singapore Post and DHL, where he had worked with von der Heide. Initially, it was funded by regional venture capital investors and angel networks including 500 Startups, Wavemaker Partners, and the Business Angel Network of South East Asia.

In January 2018, Parcel Perform raised US$1.1 million in a seed funding round led by Wavemaker Partners, with participation from 500 Durians, the Southeast Asian fund of 500 Startups. In 2019, the company expanded into Europe with the opening of a new office in Germany and announced a partnership with Coureon Logistics for multi-carrier shipping in the European countries.

In August 2021, Parcel Perform raised US$20 million in a Series A funding round led by Cambridge Capital, with participation from SoftBank Ventures Asia.

In March 2022, Parcel Perform opened its first office in the United States in New York City.

In 2023, Parcel Perform formed a joint initiative with the third-party logistics provider GEODIS to integrate shipment visibility and analytics.

Platform

Parcel Perform is a cloud-based delivery experience software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. It uses machine learning for use cases such as date-of-arrival prediction and automated exception handling. Parcel Perform also operates Parcel Monitor, a free shipment tracking website and industry research community.

In 2018, Parcel Perform was selected by the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore to develop the interoperability platform for the Locker Alliance, a national network of parcel lockers.
