Omega Tau Podcast
{{db-web|help=off}} omega tau – science engineering in your headphones (short: omega tau) is a Podcast by Nora Ludewig and Markus Völter. Since August 2008 273 episodes were published (up december 2017), whereby about half of the episodes are in German and the other half in English. All contents are under Creative Commons licence.
Some of the interviews are performed by phone or Skype. More often, the guests are visited directly on-site. This might be a laboratory, a research centre, a construction site, as well as a particular vehicle, plane, ship or train. Pictures and videos of the visits can be found on the website of omega tau, but are not necessary for the comprehension of the podcast.

Omega tau covers a mix if topics from engineering and science. The selection of topics is guided by the interests of the authors as well as listener suggestions.
The episodes are interviews to experts, scientists or technicians working in the field, ranging from researchers, astronauts, pilots, engineers, CEOs of technical companies. A typical episode has a length between one and ten hours and covers the topic in depth.
