Crispian Jago
Crispian Jago (born 1966) is an English IT consultant, skeptic, and award-winning blogger.
He served as the Vice President and Events Organizer of the Hampshire Skeptics Society, which he co-founded, in addition to co-founding Winchester Skeptics in the Pub. He also contributed centerfold pieces to The Skeptic.
In 2008 he began the blog The Reason Stick, which he described as, "[g]iving unevidenced beliefs perpetuated by misinformation, tradition, dogma, delusion, fraud and indoctrination the respect they duly deserve since 2008." In 2011 he was long-listed for the Orwell Prize for that blog.
In 2016 he received the Ockham Editor's Choice Award from QED.
Also in 2016 he began the blog Always Look On The Bright Side of Death, AbOUT his life since having been diagnosed with terminal cancer earlier that year. In 2017 he received the Best Skeptic Blog award from QED for that blog.
He is married and is the father of a daughter and a son.
