Okkar Kyaw

Okkar Kyaw (Burmese: ဥက္ကာကျော်) is a Myanmar actor best known for being cast as Galon U Saw in the biographical film Aung San (2020), which portrays the life of Burmese independence leader Aung San.

Career

Okkar Kyaw gained public attention in 2020 when he was selected to portray Galon U Saw in the historical biographical film Aung San.

Casting reports indicated that he was selected based on his suitability for the role, including physical appearance and acting ability, following auditions for the production.

In January 2021, he was reported to have donated his acting fee from the film, amounting to 2.5 million kyats, to charitable causes.

Personal life

Okkar Kyaw is married to actress and singer Hsu Pan Htwar. The couple have one son.
