Kataria began singing at the age of 3, has had a passion for singing ever since. She was discovered in 2003 by Dieter Wiesner, manager of pop icon Michael Jackson, in the parking lot of the Arizona State fair. Nisha was invited to sing live for Jackson at his Neverland Valley ranch, and he was so impressed by Kataria's voice that he decided to recorded a duet with her. She worked with producer Dieter Dierks in 2005 at his studio and produced several songs sung by her at the Westlife Concerts and was available to fans on CD. She currently lives in Germany, and is working on a debut album to be released later this year (2007). It is being recorded at Dierk's studio, produced by the same, and Kataria is currently managed by Wiesner.
