Anand Bhatt

Anand Bhatt (born on December 17, 1975) is an Indian-American hardcore, metal, rock and pop singer, songwriter, guitarist, record producer, jazz sitar player, actor, and internet TV personality. He has released several studio and live albums. He has also had several movie score and soundtrack inclusions. As a singer and guitarist, Bhatt is most known for three projects: His duo work with Faith No More guitar player and hero Jim Martin, His guitar and lead vocal work with Anand clique, and his guitar And Co-vocal work with Total Dicks. Bhatt is currently the only Indian-American in mainstream and underground music entertainment. He has been quoted as saying "Well Med-School or Rocker, it was an easy choice for me."

Education

Bhatt did go to school concurrently while touring and recording and studied Neuroscience at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He received his master's degree in Management Information Systems in artificial intelligence related research and is rumored to be currently working on his PhD with respect to social contagion and neural networks. Bhatt is also currently not the only Indian American in both the mainstream and underground scenes.

GRAMMY

Anand Bhatt has been considered for several GRAMMY Awards, mainly as a performer. He is currently a Voting Member for the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and helps to nominate and vote for current and subsequent GRAMMY nominees and winners.

Anand Clique

Anand Clique has been called by fans as a Tribal Hardcore group pushing listeners limits on break beats and heaviness. They have been honored alongside groups Sepultura, Soulfly and Black Dahlia [...].

Total Dicks

Total Dicks first broke to the public by doing electronic punk rock remixes for My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult and Pigface side projects, Levi Levi and the Apocalyptic Palace. They gained great underground notoriety for their punk release "Don't say the F word" in which comically every song on the album used the "F" word. Total Dicks is also well known for their GRAMMY considered punk remake of Numa Numa or Ma Ya Hi which received some YouTube attention.
