Nisar Nadiadwala

Nisar Nadiadwala was born on 10 March 1962. He is well known as a public speaker on Islam and comparative religions in India. He is currently a research executive at the Islamic Research Foundation (IRF) a non-profit organisation that owns the Peace TV channel based in Dubai, UAE.

Lectures and debates

Nadiawala has held many debates and lectures in India and some other countries. Besides Islam and comparative regions, he also speaks on economics, social issues and other subjects. In June 2000, he attended the "Inter-Faith Dialogue Conference" at Mecca, Saudi Arabia, and then in July 2008, at Madrid, Spain, hosted by Saudi King Abdullah. Besides Da'wah, he also handles questions and answers session in the absence of Zakir Naik on Peace TV. Every year since 2007 he has been a speaker at a 10-day Peace Conference at Somaiya Ground, Sion, Mumbai along with Zakir Naik and twenty other Islamic scholars.

Writing

Nisar Nadiadwala has been writing extensively for Young Musilms on Facebook and blogs. He has been focusing on sociology, education, economics, youth issues, etc., from Islamic perspective . His notes are read and shared by at least 50,000 readers every days. Till now he has written around 300 notes in just a span of one year. Since his college days Nisar Nadiadwala has a flair for writing. In the early 80s Mumbai did not have degrees in journalism so the best option for him was to assist a senior writer. He had served as an assistance to notable Gujrati investigative writer cum reporter Kanti Bhatt. Nadiadwala also served as a prominent reporter and writer for famous Gujarti weekly Abhiyaan, published in Mumbai with a circulation of around 60 thousand.

Family

Nadiawala is believed to be cousin or brother of Sajid Nadiadwala, who is a popular Bollywood film producer.
