NintendoFuse is a news and reviews blog, centered on the video game company Nintendo. The site launched in early 2006 as WiiNintendo, but changed to NintendoFuse in 2011. The blog-style website focuses on Nintendo news, game and product reviews, and other Nintendo-related information.

Review system

Each review looks at three basic aspects of a game: story/plot, gameplay/controls, and graphics/sound before issuing a final score. In the early days of NintendoFuse, they used a review system based on buy, try, or ignore. From 2009-2012, NintendoFuse used a 5.0 point system with increments of 0.5. Currently, the team uses a 10.0 point system with increments of 0.5. In 2013, the team also added a list of positives and negatives to the end of their reviews, as to help summarize the basics for readers looking for a quick answer.

Relationship with Nintendo

NintendoFuse has no direct relationship with Nintendo, but they are in constant contact with them and their public relations department, as to know what is going on in the life of the company, including games and consoles. NintendoFuse has also been present at Nintendo's E3 press presentations from 2009 through the present. Nintendo did fly DeLorenzo to New York City to be one of the first to test out Nintendo's new product Wii Fit. Also, during E3 in 2007, DeLorenzo was on the jumbo screen while Reggie Fils-Aime announced Nintendo's new product Wii Fit.
