Nick DeBarr
Nicholas Adam Debarr (born August 24, 1983 in Hayward, California) is a minor league pitcher with the Los Angeles Dodgers organization.
DeBarr played baseball at Amador Valley High School and Lassen Community College before being drafted by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the 14th round of the 2002 MLB Draft.
From 2002-2004 he played in the Devil Rays minor league system, starting as many as 20 games for Single-A Charleston RiverDogs in 2003. However he missed the entire 2005 season due to undergoing Tommy John Surgery on his elbow. After his recovery, he was picked up by the Boston Red Sox in the Rule 5 Draft but did not make the Major League roster out of spring training and he was returned to the Rays, where he was switched to the bullpen in 2007 for AA Montgomery and in 2008 for the AAA Durham Bulls. He was signed as a minor league free agent by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2009 and is currently pitching for the Albuquerque Isotopes.
