Griff Erickson

Gorman Charles "Griff" Erickson (born March 11, 1988) was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 15th round of the 2006 MLB Draft out of Westview High School in San Diego, California. He spent most of 2007 and 2008 with the Rookie-class Gulf Coast Dodgers. In 2009, with the Ogden Raptors he hit .305 and was selected as a Pioneer Baseball League post-season all-star. He spent all of 2010 with the Class-A Great Lakes Loons, but hit only .215. In 2011, he hit .305 in 63 games with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, earning a spot on the California League mid-season All-Star team and a promotion to the AA Chattanooga Lookouts, where he hit .275 in 41 games. He hit only .234 in 94 games with the Lookouts in 2012. He played for the Mesa Solar Sox in the Arizona Fall League after the season. Due to injuries, he only played in 59 games for the Lookouts in 2013 and hit .199. He began 2014 with the AAA Albuquerque Isotopes. He again battled injuries in 2014 and hit .297 in 60 games for the Isotopes, with 7 homers and 29 RBI.
